To stop an alarm, you don’t need to say "Hey Google," just say "Stop." Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, and tap Alarms. Alarm will sound for 10 minutes if not turned off.

My best advice is to fiddle with your individual data settings to see if it works with other settings (like I did with Spanish & French). We have been having trouble with it saying that it set a timer but then immediately forgetting it. Maybe I'll switch to Canada and see if it helps.
